Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School
Metro-Richmond Student Pugwash Conference

The Maggie L. Walker Governor's School (MLWGS) conference will bring together students in the Metro-Richmond area to discuss various controversial issues facing science and society today.

The topics to be discussed are Genetic Engineering, Euthanasia, Artificial Intelligence and Stem Cell Research. This conference is an opportunity for high school students to listen and to learn from professional scholars in each of the subject areas, formulate and share their own opinions, and listen to what other students have to say about these topics.

Please contact mlwgspugwash@yahoo.com with questions or to register. You can also download the registration form below and mail it to the address on the form. The registration deadline is Thursday, May 4, and the fee is $10 (including breakfast and lunch). The fee for late registrants is $15.
