Funding Options
Co-sponsorship fund programs may be available
through co-sponsoring activities with other student organizations.
Be clear about the financial responsibilities of each organization.
Some questions to consider include: How will the costs be divided?
Is it a SPUSA event "with" co-sponsors? Will each group have equal
representation and billing? The student affairs office may be able
to give you ideas for groups to contact.
Membership dues are another way to raise money. SPUSA currently
has no rules prohibiting membership dues. If you are seriously considering
dues, contact the national office
for advice.
